Hosokawa Polymer Systems has introduced a new line of clean room granulators. Based on our slow speed line, we have made a clean room granulation system which utilizes a stainless steel granulator, Silenatorô cabinet, pneumatic slide gate and evacuation system which all come together to provide a solution to clean room requirements up to ISO Class 7 (Class 10,000) for granulation. Our new clean room granulator is ideal for the medical industry, but is also applicable for the electrical and food industries. This new system saves tremendous costs and time compared to granulating outside the clean room and reintroducing the regrind back to the clean room. The high risk of contamination is also eliminated with this system. In addition to meeting strict clean room requirements, the granulator is completely mobile for easy removal for maintenance. The granulator design in combination with the Silentatorô sound attenuating cabinet make granulation virtually silent. All material contact points are stainless steel, making cleaning extremely easy. With over half a dozen systems sold after it's recent introduction earlier this year, our clean room granulator system is proving to be a popular and cost savings solution for clean room granulator applications.
