The Film Friction Washer is used to wash dirty and contaminated film flake. The Film Friction Washer consists of a unique inner rotor designed specifically for film washing. It takes into account the high dirt content found in agricultural films, the nature of the thin film and its ability to fold onto itself and act completely opposite to rigid plastic. The main components are the large arbor rotor with multiple helical continual beater plates, dewatering screen and cleaning manifold for water injection. The basic principle of operation is: the plastic material with water is fed into the Film Friction Washer at the inlet of the trough. The material is washed while being transported to the outlet of the trough. Fines and water are thrown through the screen to the outside while the friction of the rotor cleans the material. The centrifuge drainage is discharged at the bottom of the trough.
