Large Part Granulator

The Hosokawa Polymer Systems Large Part Plastics Granulator is designed to recover large, thin-walled parts including housings, helmets, blown bottles, automotive body and bumper components, as well as large volumes of smaller parts and accumulated sprues and runners. The Large Part Granaulator Double Angle Cut™ Counter slanted rotor and bed knives produce a slicing action for clean, uniform granulate at higher throughputs with less energy consumption and heat build-up.

Double Angle Cut™ Counter-slanted rotor and bed knives provide a high shear slicing action that achieves clean, uniform granulate at high throughput rates with less noise and fines, lower energy consumption and heat buildup. The steep angle approach of the rotor pulls material into the chamber for faster processing with reduced flyback. Two-blade & three-blade rotor configurations provide optimum granulating efficiency and throughput for your specific application.
